I understand that all courses listed above are taught indoors in a classroom environment.
These classes do not involve outdoor travel, hiking, or fieldwork.
Activities may include map reading, compass use, planning exercises, demonstrations, and decision-making scenarios.

I understand that even in a classroom setting, participation may involve minor risks, including slips or falls, physical strain from sitting or moving, or stress from mental tasks.
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

In exchange for being allowed to participate, I release and discharge:
True Focus Outdoors, its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, volunteers, and agents
from any liability for injury, illness, property damage, or loss arising from participation in these classes, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

I understand that these classes do not certify me as a professional navigator, guide, or outdoor leader.
I am solely responsible for how I apply any knowledge gained outside of the classroom.

I affirm that I am physically and mentally able to participate in classroom activities.
I agree to follow all instructions and safety guidelines.
I am responsible for my own conduct and safety during the class.
